Marlin E. Benedict has been a guide in Wrangell Alaska since 1994 and a year round resident with a passion for fishing and hunting. On his day off you will find him in the great outdoors with his family, wife Karen, son James and daughters Brittney and Cassey.  Marlin's boats are custom made boats built in Wrangell, Alaska. Marlin's 26'ft. "Royal Coachman" built in 2002 has almost taken over the business as a fine Saltwater fishing boat.   For Freshwater streams Marlin runs a 17'ft. jetboat called the Muddler Minnow. This boat can get you to some great stream fishing sites without miles of walking.   Most often our fishing starts right in back of where we park the boat.

We have offered the best fly and spin cast fishing you have come to expect from great fishermen.

Marlin ties all of his own flies and offers classes for beginners. 

Marlin holds a U.S. Coast Guard license.  Marlin is also a member of a random drug testing program to insure you are working with a captain who looks out for your safety first.  Marlin also holds a current CPR and First Aid certifications.
